Some like it hot — and so will you when you savor the fresh taste of our spicy puttanesca sauce. Diced plum tomatoes are cooked down with onions, garlic, and tons of crushed red pepper flakes. Capers, whole pitted green olives, and kalamatas are tossed in at the end of cooking, along with fresh parsley and basil. FreshDirect uses only the finest quality ingredients in our prepared meals. Even though we only use olives without pits in our spicy puttanesca sauce, occasionally a piece of pit may remain behind.
