Use code CHEER5 to get any one of the ingredients on this list for free, then use it in this sumptuous clam recipe for the Feast of the Seven Fishes: Put 2 c white wine, 1 1/2 c sliced shallots, 2 tbsp chopped garlic, 1/2 c parsley, and 3 sprigs thyme in a large pot. Bring to boil, then add 3 dozen clams in an even layer and cover. Shake pot occasionally while cooking and remove clams to a bowl once open. Discard any unopened clams. Let clams cool, then remove shells, saving 36 shell halves. In a bowl, mix 11 oz (2 3/4 sticks) soft butter, 2 tbsp diced prosciutto or Serrano ham, 2 tsp minced shallot, 2 tsp minced garlic, 3 tbsp chopped parsley, 1/4 c panko, salt, and pepper. Place a cooked clam in each half shell and top with a teaspoon of the butter mixture. Place shells on a sheet pan and top with more panko. Place under broiler and broil until tops are golden brown.
