Up and down the east coast, you'll find a wide array of long-standing oyster traditions. This sampler contains six pieces each of three different varieties, showcasing the region's terroir and diversity. First is the Massachusetts Standish Shore oyster, grown in the pristine waters of Duxbury Bay, with its sweet and buttery flavor. Next is the briny and moderately sweet Moondancer oyster, which hails from Maine's Damariscotta River. Lastly, there's the Misty Point oyster, raised in the Chesapeake Bay at the very tip of Virginia's Eastern Shore, with sweet notes of celery and grass.
