Lobster mushrooms have both a reddish color and meaty, dense texture that is reminiscent of their namesake. Their nutty, sweet aroma makes them an especially delicious addition to savory recipes. Lobster mushrooms are best pan-fried or sautéed, or can be cut up into chunks for frying tempura style.
