Campo Flores Tinto Organic Tempranillo Syrah

The region of La Mancha is well suited to the production of organic grapes and wine, with its hot dry climate and well drained soils. The farmers grow the grapes much as they have done for centuries, cultivating old bush vines on sandy chalk soils. They have never used, nor needed chemicals. An intense succulent, juicy red wine which is luscious and rugged. Supple ripe strawberry and blackcurrant fruit provides the character, and a warming spicy finish gives personality to this delicious honest red. This Tempranillo/Syrah blend goes well with veal, pasta, beef and poultry. (from the vintner)
