Ménage à Trois Red Blend

Ménage à Trois red brings together Zinfandel, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. To add complexity and retain character, each variety was fermented separately, then blended together prior to bottling. On the top Zinfandel brings blackberry and raspberry jam to the blend. Merlot adds generous mouthfeel and red fruits, then rich flavors and firm tannins of Cabernet Sauvignon form the bottom layer of the trio. Ménage à Trois exposes the fresh, ripe, jam-like fruit that is the calling card of California wine. Forward, silky and soft, this delicious dalliance makes the perfect accompaniment for grilled meats or chicken. (from the vintner)
