Mezcalum Artesenal Joven Mezcal

Maestro Mezcalero Carlos Mendez Blas selects and harvests the agave hearts at their peak. Drawing on four generations of experience, Carlos roasts, ferments, and distills the agave using methods that his family has been practicing in their palenques in Santiago de Matatlán for close to a century. The mezcal is approachable, smooth, and light on the smoke, with flavors of citrus zest, green pepper, dried leather, candied pine, and sea salt. (from Mezcalum)
