Château Maris Biodynamic Natural Selection Syrah, Cru La Liviniere

This could be the "greenest" wine on the planet. Bottled in lightweight, recycled glass, it's a blend of 85% Syrah and 15% Grenache. It's bottled unfined and unfiltered and is thus suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The nose has ripe black fruit notes (blackcurrants, elderberries) alongside more spicy characteristics (pepper, herbs). The palate is very attractive with firm yet silky tannins. It's aromatic and spicy with a generous weight. (from the vintner)
