Le Seuil de Mazeyres Pomerol
Sold out
Think that you're priced out of Pomerol? Think again! Le Seuil de Mazeyres is the second wine of Château Mazeyres. This blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc has aromas of red fruit, blackberry, raspberry and tobacco. The palate shows cedar and pepper with generous red berry and fine-grained tannins. This is a well-balanced, silky wine that will evolve beautifully over the next five to eight years. Enjoy with steak, roast chicken, duck or lamb chops. Château Mazeyres, located in the heart of Libourne, is very closely linked to the history of Pomerol with evidence of winegrowing going back to the 14th century. Since 1992, Alain Moueix, fourth generation of a family of winegrowers and wine merchants, has been entrusted with the management of Château. The estate practices sustainable agriculture.
