Turkey Meatballs with Cranberry Dipping Sauce
These make the perfect sweet and savory appetizer for every holiday party.
What You’ll Need
1 pound JUST FreshDirect ground turkey
1 large egg
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/3 cup whole milk
1/2 teaspoon crushed fennel seeds
4 teaspoons finely chopped sage
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, divided

2 tablespoons fresh orange zest
What To Do
Preheat oven to 450°F.
Mix together turkey, eggs, garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, fennel, 4 tsp. chopped sage, salt and pepper until combined. Roll the mixture into 1″ balls and then transfer balls to an oiled baking sheet (pack them tightly together!). Bake meatballs until cooked through, about 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat up the cranberry sauce, about 5 minutes. Generously coat meatballs with 1/3 cup cranberry sauce mixture. Add the meatballs back into the oven for about 5 minutes.
Transfer meatballs to your serving dish while still warm and have the extra cranberry sauce on the side for dipping; garnish with the orange zest. Enjoy!
