Sesame Chicken Wings Recipe
What You’ll Need:
1 large clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1½ tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Sriracha, to taste
1½ lb. chicken wings
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
2 scallions, thinly sliced
What To Do:
Preheat the oven to 425 F.
Place garlic, salt, soy sauce, hoisin, honey, sesame oil, and sriracha in a bowl and mix well (start with a dash of sriracha and add more as desired). Add wings and toss until evenly coated all over. If you have extra time, you can cover the wings and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least one hour and up to eight.
Set a wire rack over a large baking sheet. Arrange wings on rack in a single layer. Place sheet in oven and roast wings until cooked through, 30–35 minutes.
Meanwhile, put sesame seeds in a small skillet and place skillet over medium-low heat. Toast seeds, stirring occasionally, until they start to turn golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
Once wings are done roasting, sprinkle over sesame seeds and scallions before serving.
