Dips to Take Your Game Day Snacks to the Max

Chip. Dip. Repeat. Even if you can’t take part in the on-field action, you can always score big on game day with your munchies.

Nachos, chips, and wings are obvious musts. But to take those snacks a step further, you’ll want to put a fully-loaded dip front and center. To give you some inspiration, we’ve put together a few of our favorite dip recipes that are a touchdown for the tastebuds.

Seven Layer Dip

Featuring a little bit of everything, this in-your-face recipe was shared with us by Hale and Hearty’s executive chef Bruce Rogers. Make sure to grab some tortilla chips for dipping!

1 cup chili
1 cup salsa
3/4 cup sour cream
Sliced jalapeños (optional)
2 scallions, sliced
1/4 cup cilantro

Sprinkle over jalapeño slices if using. Bake in oven until bubbly, about 20 minutes. Once finished, garnish with scallions and cilantro before serving.

Za’atar Yogurt Dip

If you prefer something light and fresh-tasting to the usual fully-loaded dips, this recipe featuring the Mediterranean herb blend za’atar will hit the spot. Serve it with crudités, chips, or crackers.

What You’ll Need:
17 oz Greek yogurt
A few spoonfuls Zesty Z za’atar
Good olive oil
Sea salt

What To Do:
Place yogurt in a bolw. Spoon out three spoonfuls of za’atar into the yogurt and mix roughly (it should look streaky). Drizzle over a little more za’atar, along with some olive oil. Sprinkle with sea salt to finish.
