FreshDirect Partner Turkey Farms
We carry a wide selection of turkeys so you can choose the one that best fits your needs and preferences. All turkeys available from FreshDirect are raised without antibiotics. Read on to learn more about our partner farms:
Diestel Family Ranch
We offer a wide selection of Diestel turkey products, from breasts and small birds to brined versions. This family-run, fourth-generation farm in Sonora, California humanely raises turkeys without antibiotics. These slow-growing birds receive only the highest quality feed available and are given plenty of time and space to develop naturally. The result is a juicy, tender turkey with that signature old-fashioned flavor—they’re known for “all that white meat.” This year, we’ve also added their pasture-raised turkey, which is raised with the freedom to forage and is a key part of Diestel’s regenerative practices.
Jaindl Farms
These turkeys make the perfect centerpiece for your dinner table. Locally sourced from Jaindl Farms in Lehigh Valley, PA—these humanely raised birds receive feed that is grown and harvested on the farm. Jaindl turkeys are a product of decades of selective breeding, resulting in a deliciously lean and plump bird that yields more white meat than other commercially grown turkeys.
Empire Kosher
Meaty and delicious, Empire Kosher’s locally-raised kosher turkeys are plump and juicy any way you cook them. If you serve turkey only on holidays, you’re missing out on one of the most versatile and tasty meats around.
Shady Brook Farms
This whole turkey is vegetarian-fed and raised without antibiotics, making it a delicious choice that you can feel good about. It also comes with a light 3% brine to help lock in that delicious turkey flavor. Shady Brook Farms works with independent family farmers to deliver quality you can trust.
Just FreshDirect Turkey Breasts and Tenderloins
We partner with the Virginia Poultry Growers Cooperative to source healthy, happy turkeys from independent family farms located in the rolling hills of the Shenandoah Valley, Virginia. There, the birds are raised humanely with respect for the land and the environment and are never given antibiotics. This commitment to sustainable practices ensures that one day the next generation of farmers will inherit a thriving farm.
