Grown on Long Island Garlic Scape

A summer delicacy, garlic scapes are vibrant green stalks with a milder flavor than garlic cloves from the bulb. With whimsical curly shapes, the scapes are both edible and exotic-use as a garlic substitute in pesto, pickle or roast them, or chop and add to stir-fries or salads.
